This family business, situated at Tan Quee Lane, was newly opened. It's a quick short walk from Bugis Junction to Porridge Paradise.
A clean, simple and tidy restaurant, with their posters greeted me when my friend and I came to the shop front...
It is a quiet, homely setup which makes us feel at home...
Do they sell only Porridge, the answer is 'NO',
they are like some 'zhi zhar' air-conditioned restaurant.

~ Signature Dish ~ 3C Porridge |
The 3C porridge was served, it came out to be a good size for 2-3 pax to share. Presentation of the porridge are simple but does not give you a feel that it is just the normal porridge and with the garnishes it just perks up my appetite. mmmhmm!
Without seeing what are the description in the menu of the three porridge, I took each mouthful and all three type of porridge gave me a different taste and feel. Which turns out surprisingly good. I like the yellow colored porridge best. The taste is unique, you will definitely not cooked it at home. The green & red porridge are quite the norms... but the chef is quite generous with the ingredients =))
And after reading the menu, the following is what the 3C Porridge:
Red Porridge: Shredded Chicken Porridge, 'lowers cholesterol'
Yellow Porridge: Prawn Porridge, 'An antioxidant'
Green Porridge: Minced Pork Porridge, 'boosts immune'
Curry Chicken |
The spiciness of this bowl of good is just nice. However, it is not to my liking, as I prefer spicier food.
The owner know that Singaporean loves to have bread to go along with our curry, so she provided me with a loaf of bread... that just made my evening, woots! (By the way, they are locals too :])

Pork Belly w Preserved Vegetables |
Putting the fattiness pork belly into my mouth it just melts and with the preserved vegetables it just trickle the sweetness and saltiness of the dish which made it flavorsome!
Assorted Vegetables |
I LOVE to eat greens! This is one of my favourite dish, and it isn't too oily.
With the aromatic smell of the oyster sauce with the fried scallots, my green are done properly...
The Chef and service guys are awesome, as they seek to your need and will recommend you the best food. Trust me, what we did that day, was we just leave it to the chef and said, whipped whatever is appropriate for us, 'as we do not want to crack any more of our brain juice'.
So what you see here is what the chef had specially prepared for us that day.
I would recommend you guys to visit this place for family lunch/dinner, group gatherings or a simple dinner with your love ones.
As for the pricing, it is reasonable, about S$10-20.
Hope you enjoy as much as I did :)
